Laser cutting and Color Printing by FLUX Ador

FLUX Ador is the first laser cutter to support color printing, it is also combined with an infrared module, and a diode laser module, giving your works more space for creativity. At the end of this article, we have prepared laser design files and parameter setting guides for our users, so make sure to read through to the end! Before we start, please ensure that your Beam Studio is updated to version 2.2.3 beta. To verify, check for the new feature BOXGEN in the lower left corner of Beam Studio.

Beam Studio New Feature - Boxgen

BOXGEN, or box generator, is a feature that allows you to easily create a rectangular cuboid or cube based on the parameters you set. It’s particularly useful for producing 3D works.

Simple 3 Steps to Execute Color Printing

In this demo, we will use color printing first and then proceed with laser cutting. First, install the color printing module and perform a camera preview to verify the laser work area. Second, when opening Beam Studio, click the BOXGEN feature. Adjust the length, width, and height as needed. Enter the storage box’s dimensions (100x100x80mm), and then click “Continue to Import” to finish the setup. Third, drag the files into Beam Studio, align the image file with the graphic generated by BOXGEN, and adjust the cutting parameters in the lower right corner of Beam Studio (or you can refer to the parameters we suggest at the bottom of the article). When you finish these steps, click the start button to execute the task!

Laser Cutting Proccess

Once you finish the printing part, remove the color printing module and install the Diode laser module. Open the second layer in Beam Studio to adjust the parameters for laser cutting. Finally, we’re all set— let’s click the start button to get it started!
